Payment Scenarios
- Trade country: Spain (ES)
- Trade currency / settlement currency: EUR
Consumer Payment Flow
- Initiate payment: On the checkout page of an online purchase, select Bizum as the payment method
- Enter mobile number: The system asks for a mobile number, which must already be registered and activated in the Bizum system of a Spanish bank
- Confirm the amount: Confirm the payment amount in the banking app via biometric authentication
- Authorize the payment: The banking app shows a confirmation screen; the consumer authorizes with a password, fingerprint, or Face ID in their own bank's app
- Complete: After authorization, funds are transferred from the consumer's bank account immediately (usually within seconds). The consumer instantly receives a success notification from their bank, and the merchant's payment system receives the confirmation notification, updates the order to paid, and redirects to the completion page
Prerequisite
The consumer's mobile number must be registered and activated in the Bizum system of a Spanish bank; otherwise the payment cannot be completed.

Bizum supports the following integration methods. See the corresponding documentation for detailed steps:
- Redirect to checkout: Redirect to the PingPong hosted checkout page where the consumer selects Bizum to complete the payment
- Server To Server: Initiate Bizum payments directly via API on the server side, with a fully customized payment page
